Location Data

Your exact GPS coordinates are private by default. We store location data securely and separately from public catch data. Exact coordinates are only shared publicly if you explicitly select "Exact Location" when posting a catch. We strip GPS and EXIF metadata from all photos before displaying them publicly.

Data We Collect

We collect your email, username, profile information, catch data, and usage analytics to provide and improve the service.

Data Security

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt. Authentication tokens are stored in secure httpOnly cookies. We never store plain-text passwords.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Public profile information and catches (with your chosen privacy settings) are visible to other users.
